Customer Reviews

Gets me great checkups.Best checkups since I started using these. I hate floss plus I have a bridge and 7 crowns. The brush parts cleans under my crown very easily. The toothpick part has ridges which really help break up the tartar. For a little extra cleaning, I'll dip the toothpick part in baking soda and really clean between my teeth. I've tried other brands and they aren't the same. They don't have the ridges on the toothpick part and you need those.5Brushpicks, 250 Count I'm in the early stages of using these brush picks. The brush part seems to be made of nylon bristles and cleans food out very well from between teeth and implants. The packaging that they came is was outstanding. It was some type of air filled tubular bubble material that was hinged to open up and remove the picks. The Brushpicks claim to do a good job of massaging the gums and removing plaque. My dental hygienist should notice as time goes on. If you have dental implants, you need to do everything you can to remove food stuck under implants so that they do not fail. It is an expensive proposition to have implants removed and replaced. 4These really are bad. Pay attention to the bad reviews. You need to pay attention to the bad reviews. I gave these a try as a cheaper alternative to the GUM picks. There is no comparison. The brush end on these is flat with bristles coming out two sides NOT all around. The bristles are hard and sharp and stab your gums. The bristles are made of the same hard material as the rest of the pick. These are EXTREMELY uncomfortable to use. It was definitely not worth while to try to save a few bucks. These went into the trash. I'm not going to waste my time on a return to Amazon. 1/10th star if I could! You have been warned. 1MY POOR GUMS! PLEASE SOMEBODY HELP MY GUMS!!I purchased these in an attempt to save money, as the GUM Soft Picks that I nromally use are expensive. BIG MISTAKE.First of all, this is coming from someone who has excellent oral hygiene - flosses daily and uses GUM Soft Picks. So my gums are accustomed to regular cleanings. But they were not ready for what these brushpicks had in store for them. The bristles on these are formed from the same piece of plastic that forms the handle and the toothpick on the other end, and they are all on the same physical plane (picture the skeleton of a very small fish). Because of their shape, they only fit in between teeth vertically, so they scrape directly on your gums. This would be OK, because that is part of their purpose, if they were not INCREDIBLY HARD AND SHARP. I said "bristles" before but I really meant needles. Impressively, the designers of this product managed to find a type of plastic that is not only incredibly hard and easily formed into razor sharp spikes, but also so flimsy that you will struggle to get these between all of your teeth in one sitting without bending or snapping off the "brush".These are so incredibly uncomfortable and difficult to use, that I will definitely be going back to the GUM brand Soft Picks, regardless of their cost.1Take it from a dentist - These are harmfulThese bristles are far too hard to be effective interdental cleaners. They will damage your gums and wont actually help that much with cleaning. If it matters, I'm a dentist. I bought these over some name brand ones I was familiar with to save some money; I expected them to be of reduced quality, but I didn't expect them to actually be harmful.1These little brushpicks are perfect for me My dentist, says if given a choice between brushing or flossing, always choose flossing. I've always used floss until I came across these brushpicks, and their many raving reviews. These little brushpicks are perfect for me. After reviewing some of the reviews, I can see where other s may have a problem. This product isn't one size fits all. I have some teeth that are very close together and some that are not. What is nice about these little tools is that the brush end is flat but starts as a point and widens just like a flat pine tree. So it will accommodate different sized spaces. I have a couple of spots that I can't get to. 5Easy Flossing Alternative First I like to mention the excellent job they did on the packaging; It may be unnecessary, but kept the product well protected. This product work as good if not better than floss, but with less effort. No more trying to re-pinch the floss strings to get your grip back, and with bristles and ridges at either end better scrapes away more plaqueLove the container its housed in. There's a nail groove just in case you're fingers are to wet to slide open the container (may be a problem if you have extra long nails). Also when full (or near full) the brushpicks can only side out when shaken out when held horizontally to prevent massive accidental spills. The Brushpicks work very well as it gently cleans between teeth in less time than a standard floss or floss with stick attachment.I recommend using the sharp tip size first then use the bristle end as a touch-up. If you try to use the bristle end first it would not last a full row of teeth.I've also included a photo with a ruler for those curious about the size.I use this product everyday and plan to purchase again in the future 5Clean teeth and healthy gums for floss-haters I like these so much more than floss, and more than floss picks also. I have used them for years. My dentist told me 2 weeks ago that there was no reason to send me to the dental hygienist as there was nothing to remove - that was 15 months after my last professional cleaning, when the hygienist said she had almost nothing to do, my teeth were so clean. Now, if only I could find something which whitens teeth that well! 5One of the Best Values in Oral Healthcare I Have Bought! I have used these kinds of toothpicks for years and the quality and pricing tends to be all over the map. These are an exceptional value and the best price I found - by far. I received 275 instead of the advertised quantity of 250 so this exceeded my expectations upon opening the mailer. But the big differences in these are the thickness and quality. Many are light and flimsy - these are not. These are what I was accustomed to getting before I got a poorly made batch from an offline retailer not long ago. I am happy I bought these and will buy them again. At this price, it is worth storing them as a backup since the quality is known now! 5Super cost effective, super clean effective. Look for the handy dispenser on top, too! This is so great - you get 250 for the same price as you do 8 -- just without the fancy handles. I love the little "feather" at the end. It's so effective. My teeth are so weird: some are super tightly packed together -- so I can't use these picks on those......but some of my teeth are spaced far apart and I have practically a whole salad in there unless I can rescue it out with floss or something. I love these because it takes just a few seconds to clean up my teeth after a meal -- which is really helpful at work when I don't have much time.I made the mistake of thinking the packaging was lame. So I cut the box open. Then, I realized there was a cute little awesome dispenser. So I taped my box back together. So as indispensable as these are, you can dispense them easily.UPDATE - I just went to the dentist for a cleaning; so far, I've used about 100 of these over the last few months. The dentist and the hygenist said:-this is the cleanest my teeth have ever been-my gums look great (they had a note to talk to me about it if they did not improve)-I had no new cavities this time which is a fantastic report, for me; I usually am very prone to cavities-she asked for the link so she could order some for her patients. 5Great Picks For Cleaning Between Teeth These are great for the price and keep food from being lodged between teeth. I use them before I use dental floss evenings. They are good to clean any food from the sides of the teeth too. The price is super for the many brushpicks that you receive. Also you can carry them in a small zip lock bag and have them available when dining out to carry to a restroom for cleaning teeth along with small amount bottle of mouth wash. I will definitely purchase again. 5
